Stereoscopic 3D Viewing Technologies

3D imaging or more commonly known as stereoscopic 3D refers to the action of making or enhancing the illusion of depth of a given image by presenting the viewer two slightly different images to each eye. As there is a certain distance between the two eyes of the viewer, they see slightly different facet of the given images. The illusion of depth is obtained when these images are combined in the brain of the viewer.
