Aside from Rosie O'Donnell, who has hosted the exhibit eight times - more than any other Kids Choice Award host in the exhibit's history - celebrity hosts are usually selected from among actors in upcoming movies that target youth audiences, which is turn provides a major venue through which to promote their soon-to-release films.
