It was only later as more cable TV networks were made, like CNN, HBO, and ESPN, did the demand for the supply grow expeditiously. At that mark, it was still a very fragmented market, with a ton of small players competing against each other for a megalopolis or municipalities contract that would allow them to lay their cable and commence acquiring paying customers.
