The History of Nude Painting
Paintings of still-lifetime objects, landscape and paintings of animals are impressive, express emotions and tell tales. Images of the human figure, in particular nudes, however, translate emotions most acutely. The earliest known nude is the celebrated Venus of Willendorf, found in Austria.
