Blood Donation - Giving the Gift of Life
Roughly 4.5 million human beings in the United States will demand a blood transfusion each year and all it takes is the blood donation of one person to potentially save three lives. As a blood donor myself, I get fantastic satisfaction knowing that every eight weeks I can donate a pint of whole blood and possibly save three lives. Donating is a quick and simple action and extremely vital to the emergency medical field.
