Everyone's Resume Looks Better On LinkedIn - Ever Wonder Why?

The other day, I was wondering how come everyone I meet that has a sheet on LinkedIn looks so fantastic when you glance at their resumes, and when you meet someone in the absolute earth you are so underwhelmed with their lack industry knowledge, expertise, and know how. As I got to thinking about this while I was sitting at Starbucks the other day and I met someone who appeared to be somewhat inept, however I engaged them in conversation anyway - I questioned them for their card, and then I looked them up online, and certain enough they had a sheet on LinkedIn.
