Karen Pryor is a Behavioral biologist and an authority on operant conditioning; she came onto the public scene in 1984 with the publishing of her textbook, Don't Shoot the Dog. Karen is best known for Clicker Training, a gentle and effective training method for dogs, cats, birds, horses, and zoo animals.
