Computers Verses Concepts: Can Computers Think?
Humans pride themselves on their ability to reckon, and hold that ability as a distinguishing feature setting them above other animals and machines. However could we meet our equal? Could a machine reckon? In a thought experiment, we explore whether and how we could develop a robot/machine which might, or might not, do so. And if it could reckon, would it know meaning?
