Thinking About the Fate and Free Will (Part II)
The difficulty of whether or not we have autonomous of charge will is therefore, twofold, based on the prior questions of whether or not it is fair that God exists and has absolute knowledge of everything, and whether or not there is some part of a human being which is immaterial and not subject to the laws of nature. Obviously, if there really is a God, He should know everything. If He is outside age, then while we are experiencing our present, He will know what our prospect will be. If He does not know this, then what we are going to do in the prospect must, in some mysterious fashion outside our age, predetermined and fixed. Therefore it seems that we are not really autonomous of charge.
